Shine Abrasives 12A2/45° resin bond diamond wheel is used for Grinding of carbide-tipped tools on universal tool grinding machines (dry or wet grinding).
Diamond and CBN grains are synthetically manufactured abrasives for hard materials with geometrically
indeterminate cutting edges and different grit sizes for
rough, finish and fine grinding.

When choosing the grit size please take into consideration: the grit size influences the surface finish to
the ground workpieces, the grinding capacity and tool
life of the grinding wheel. Therefore it is important to
choose the grit size only as coarse necessary for the
requested surface quality.
The grains used for diamond and CBN grinding wheels
are coated with a thin metal layer of nickel, copper or
titanium.
Thus the grit is held in the bond in the best possible
way and the arising grinding heat is led into the bond.

The choice of the right concentration, together with grit
size and bond type, decides about the performance
of the grinding wheel. The concentration indicates the
diamond and CBN content in the grinding layer.
